How to Draw the Philippines's Sights and Symbols
A Kid's Guide to Drawing the Countries of the World
The Philippines consists of over 7,000 islands, most of which are so small, they have no name! Students are brought on a tour of some of the sights that are found on the larger islands, such as Manila and Mindanao. On this fun-filled journey, they will learn about such national heroes as Jos? Rizal and about controversial political figures such as Ferdinand Marcos. They will draw the Mayon Volcano, famous for its many eruptions, and the rice terraces that were carved out of mountainsides over 2,000 years ago.
