The Apollo 11 Mission

"That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." With these words, astronaut Neil Armstrong touched a foot down on the Moon, the first man or woman ever to do so. In this book, students will learn the details of Apollo 11 as Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, and Michael Collins make their way to the Moon and back. They'll follow Armstrong and Aldrin as they walk on the Moon, and find out what they collected and what they left behind on this historic 1969 mission.
